Has anyone ever worn body jewelry designed for the navel in your ear (specifically cartilage piercing)?

There's a really cute piece of navel jewelry (don't have my navel pierced), I'd like to wear in my ear (I have the top of my ear cartilage pierced). I just wanted to know if anyone has ever done this and if it looked okay. To me I'd think it would just look like a dangling type of earring, but I don't want to buy it and not be able to use it or return it. Please by nice I have a feeling this could fall into stupid question category, but I really want to know.

it depends on the size of the earring and your ear.
some of my friends have done it with small ones, dangling or not.
