when i got mine the guy put something like anasthetic (sorry if i spelt it wrong) and it didn’t hurt at all. but the healing process sucks because you can’t eat normal food for a week. but it’s worth it

i have mine done and it took me a while to get used to it. a few times i would be eating and i would accidently bite down on my post. scared me a little, but my teeth are not chipped. and yes, your tongue does swell and its a good idea to not talk as much, moving it a lot does hurt more.
