Body piercing question?

I got my navel pierced about 12 years ago and about 4 years ago, I put a cheap Playboy dangling thingie in it and it get horribly infected! Needless to say, I had to reluctantly remove it and it closed up of course. Now, I want it back! Can they re-pierce it? And about how much is it now for the piercing and the stud? Or do you think it's out of style now? When I got it, it was really novel but now everyone has one. Also, I have a small scar below my belly button and a dangling ring would cover it. And I still have a nice, flat tummy. I hate it when people with big bellies get them or people with hideously deformed belly buttons, don't you?

probaly got infected cuz you put the playboy ring in it, those playboys are always infected…. a little judgemental to say big bellies shouldnt have them or deformed? whatever that means. you can get it repierced tho, good luck.

I don't know how much it costs. But yeah I think that only people with flat stomachs should get them done. It just looks wrong. You are supposed to show them off. And like a heavy person is really going to do that.

yes i do it looks so ugly but yes they can do re-pierce it but that sort of thing is usualyfound in the emo crowd

Yes, it can be done for a 2nd time. I have had mine done 4, yes 4, times (infection, pregnancy, etc). They will pierce it directly through the old scar tissue. They run around $40, but can widely depend on your location and what kind of jewlery you get put in. They are still in style, maybe not as much as they once were though.

Navel piercing used to be the "in" thing to do. I got mine pierced when I was in seventh grade…Now I'm a junior in college and I took it out a year ago and let it grow up. I feel stupid for ever even getting it done. It's not even "cool" anymore and now I have this little scar forever because I wanted a dangly thing from my navel. I wouldn't do it again, but if you do then it'll cost between $35 and $65 plus more for some of the rings. And yes, I don't think fat chicks should get them.

First of all just because a person isnt super skinny doesnt mean that they cant get their navels peirced. and as far as price. it depends where you live. i know here they are like $60.

usually piercing is free but you have to pay for a stud or a ring.

yeaa i dont think fat people should get it done its gross. And that means there gonna be wearing small clothes to show it off which i also dont want to see! lol good luck but maby in the future you shouldnt put cheap things in there..

The same thing happened to me and they re-pierced it no problem. It was $60 including the bar, but they are all different prices. It's not that out of style but it is kind of tacky at this point to have the really long dangly ones if you walk around showing your stomcah a lot, but that's just where I live, trends and styles are different in different areas. And yes it is a bit gross when larger people get it and walk aroudn with it showing.
