most people it takes about 4-6 weeks to heal but its good to wait until youre sure that its completely healed but while still making sure to change the barbell to a smaller size.

No because most of …
No because most of the clear ones are made from either soft plastic or acrylic. When you first get a piercing, you need to be using surgical stainless steel, titanium, or pure 16-18 karat gold jewelry to help ward off infections. Acrylic, soft plastic, and clear balls will not have the same effect. Also, in the beginning stages of a tongue piercing, the bar needs to be extra long so as to allow for tongue swelling.
